Giovanni Maciocco

Giovanni Maciocco recieved his Degree in Engineering from the University of Pisa in 1970 and his Degree in Architectire from the University of Florence in 1974. He has taught Architecture at the University of Pisa, Urban Planning at the Unversity of Bari, and became Full Professor in Regional Planning at the University of Cagliari. Giovanni Maciocco is currently the Dean of the Factulty of Architecture and the Director of the Department of Architecture and Planning of the University of Sassari, where he teaches in both the Architecture and the Urban Planning degree courses. He is the director of the “International Summer School on the Environmental Project and Territorial Planning”, of the “ Laboratory for the Environment and Architecture Project” and is member of the Scientific Commitee of various Italian and international jounals, including: Plurimondi, Oikos, Pluriverso, Territorio. He is Editor of the series “ Metodi del territorio” published by FrancoAngeli, Milano.
