Jonna M. Krarup

Jonna M. Krarup graduated as an architect specialized in landscape and urban studies in 1988. The following decade she was an employee at different architectural offices working
with a variety of assignments and competitions within the field.
Her way in to research and teaching took its point of departure with an invitation to join a research project in 1998. In 2000 she was granted a PhD grant, and in 2003 she defended her thesis on landscape aesthetics in agricultural landscapes.
In the period 2004-2005 she was both a Post. Doc researcher and conducted the landscape studies at master level at the School of Architecture in Aarhus in Denmark.
In 2005 she became an employee at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, where she teaches urban and landscape courses along with conducting research within the field. Her recent research project is on climate change adaption at
planning level.
