Vincenzo Pascucci

Vincenzo Pascucci graduated in Geological Sciences at Siena University on July 17th, 1990. From 1992 to 1996 he did his Ph.D. at the Earth Sciences Department of the University of Siena. From September 2002 to July 2011 he was Associate Professor c/o the Institute of Geology and Mineralogy of the University of Sassari and since 2009 at the Department of Botany, Ecology and Geology). From the 28th July 2011 he covers the position of Full Professor at the Nature and Land Resources Science of the University of Sassari and where he teaches Marine Geology and Sedimentology for the degree “Laurea” in Natural Sciences. Main research interests concern extensional basin analysis, clastic sedimentology and Quaternary climate changes. Basin analysis has been mainly performed from 1992 to 2002 and sequence and seismic stratigraphy where the main used tools. Quaternary climatic changes studies are nowadays his main goal.
